Jump In With A Celebrated Children's Book Illustrator!

Our next Zoobean Expert, Shadra Strickland, is preparing to release her newest book, Please, Louise, a collaboration with Pulitzer Prize winning author Toni Morrison! We are thrilled to invite Shadra to our #ZoobeanExperts series. In fact, we're so excited that we invited more friends to join us live...a classroom of first graders from DC Prep Charter School. This will be a dynamic, kid-friendly discussion.

Shadra is a celebrated illustrator, with several honors under her belt, including a Coretta Scott King Award for New Talent. Her work is gorgeous, and more than that, she has a unique perspective on the world of children's book illustration. Ask questions live in the hangout...and if you're home with kids, please bring them (and their questions), too!

RSVP here to join us live!
